*Statistical Report: The circulation activity sheets were sent the board prior to review. Rachel commented
circulation is up 19% this year, with more people checking items out. Other sheets sent show the curbside
requests and how many used the computers. The Take & Make Crafts are also popular.
*Friends Update: Carol reported the Friends started their online auction today, with 49 items/baskets to bid
on. Items can be found on Bidding Owl.com. The Friends are doing a fun candy counting contest until
December 181 \ where people guess the amount of candy in the container and win a prize. And possibly in
January, a snowman picture contest. Trying to do something each month.
*Directors Report:
**Things have been running well.
**Had a system wide directors meeting. Circulation is up all over. Computer use has been good, too.
**Working on a Bader grant for memory care. Getting things out for Seniors, like puzzle books, card
games, crafts, etc.
**Weekly online story time is continuing, along with the Take and Make craft bags. December's project is
a snow globe.
**Receiving new items in all the time.
**LAPA has bingo starting in the village for December. And the Park is nicely decorated with many lights.
*Business:
*Electronic receipts form WRLS: It's a new bookkeeping from WRLS for people that pay their fines and
fees with a card online. Just received our reports for June thru October. We're averaging about $35 a month.
*Winter reading program plans: Planning bingo. For each square, people would read books from different
categories. When they bingo, they will receive a prize of a cute mug, donated by WRLS. After they win a
mug, every bingo after that, their name goes into a drawing for a grand p_rize in the end. This will start
January 41 h, after the holidays, and into February.
